New York associate Joseph Lipari has
been appointed as a member of the New York State Bar Association's
Committee on Legislative Policy.
Ms. Kyriss focuses on high-stakes litigation
in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on products
liability litigation and complex commercial litigation. Ms.
Kyriss is admitted in New York, New Jersey and Michigan, and
her admission in Illinois is pending. She can be reached through

NJ Senior Associate Jason Schmitz won
summary judgment dismissing strict product liability and negligent
maintenance claims against our client. The Court held that
plaintiff's expert failed to sufficiently support the design
or manufacturing claim and that our clients' installation
contract limited the duty of care to a duty to repair and
maintain the equipment, but that duty did not include the
systematic repairs that plaintiff alleged our client should
have performed.
