Rob Wilson is a corporate litigator with over 25 years of experience successfully defending a wide variety of
suits involving prescription drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, food products and consumer appliances for both
domestic and global clients at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Wilson currently serves as national coordinating
counsel for two major pharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as a major cosmetics company, where he
hires and supervises local counsel nationwide in addition to defending suits filed in state and federal courts in
New York. Mr. Wilson has extensive experience in complex product liability, class action, MDL and mass tort
litigation including the development of defense strategies, supervision of the discovery process and organizing
and coordinating the defense of multiple concurrent lawsuits throughout the country involving pharmaceuticals
and medical devices.
On a number of occasions, Mr. Wilson has been a featured speaker at the Pharmaceutical Education & Research
Institute speaking on the regulation of marketing and promotion of prescription drugs. He is also a
member of the Defense Research Institute and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Mr. Wilson was formerly affiliated with Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where he was a member of the
firm’s product liability practice group.
