Sarah Edwards became an English
barrister, associated with the Honourable Society of Middle
Temple, after graduating with honors from the University of
Wales, Cardiff and training at the Inns of Court School of
Law in London. After emigrating to the United States, she
earned admission to the New York bar in 2003.
Ms. Edwards has developed an expertise in
Insurance Coverage, including policy review and analysis,
policy drafting, providing coverage opinions and handling
complex coverage litigation across the country. She has counseled
both liability insurers and corporations in resolving complex
coverage problems and has been active at all stages of the
claims resolution and coverage litigation process. She has
also provided claims supervisory and handling services throughout
the U.S. and in the U.K., and acted as a supervising and coordinating
counsel in mass-tort litigation. She is a co-author of the
“General Liability Coverage for Bodily Injury and Property
Damage” chapter in the New York State Bar Association’s
Insurance Law Practice treatise.
In addition to her Insurance Coverage practice,
Sarah Edwards has defended Product Liability actions, and,
drawing on her deep background in contract interpretation,
has handled a number of complex Commercial matters.
